PACO type VSM is a close coupled, vertically mounted Top Suction/Top Discharge Pump. The suction and discharge connections are the same size to simplify piping. The design incorporates an internal suction baffle to provide laminar flow and suction and discharge bends, eliminating the need for suction diffusers, angle type valves and/ or elbows.The type VSM design incorporates a short shaft with minimum overhang reducing shaft deflection. Top pull out design allows rotating assembly to be removed without disturbing the volute or piping for ease of maintenance and service. PACO Vertical Space Miser Pumps feature an exclusive double volute design to reduce radial thrust and prolong bearing life.
